Ymweliad Mrs Jones i Uganda / Mrs Jones's visit to Uganda
Fel yr ydym i gyd yn gwybod, ar ddiwedd tymor yr Haf bu Mrs Jones ar daith bythgofiadwy i Uganda gyda'r Eglwys. Hoffai Mrs Jones ddiolch am garedigrwydd pawb a gyfranodd tuag at ddarparu adnoddau gwerthfawr i'r ysgolion yno. Dywedodd Mrs Jones ei fod yn brofiad anhygoel na fu iddi byth ei anghofio. Isod gwelwch ychydig o luniau o'i thaith. Os hoffech weld mwy o luniau, ewch draw i dudalen we yr Eglwys.
As we all know, at the end of last year's Summer term, Mrs Jones went on a once in a lifetime journey to Uganda with the Church. Mrs Jones would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their generosity in contributing financially towards valuable resources to the schools out in Uganda. Mrs Jones said that it was an extraordinary experience, one she will never forget. Above you can see some of the picture taken on the journey. If you wish to see more, please visit the Church's website.

Dydd Mawrth Ynyd / Shrove Tuesday
Y tymor yma bu holl ddisgyblion yr Ysgol gymryd rhan mewn amryw i weithgaredd oedd yn hybu eu dealltwriaeth o bwysigrwydd y cyfnod yma ym mywydau Cristnogion. Fel yr ydym yn gwybod, diwrnod olaf cyn Lent yw Dydd Mawrth Ynyd, ble defnyddir nwyddau fel blawd, llefrith a menyn gan i Gristnogion baratoi at y cyfnod i gofio'r aberth a waned Iesu yn yr anialwch yn ystod y cyfnod a adnabydder fel Lent. Bydd y cyfnod hyn yn dechrau y diwrnod wedyn a adnabydder fel Dydd Mercher y Lludw. Aeth yr Adran Iau i Eglwys St Cybi ar y diwrnod hynny i gymryd rhan mewn gwasanaeth eglwysig ble bu croes Ludw ei roi ar dalcen pawb. Bu blwyddyn 5 a 6 yn lwcus hefyd i dderbyn ymweliad gan y Parchedig Dr Kevin Ellis a ddaeth i goginio crempogau. Hoffwn gymryd y cyfle i groesawu y Parchedig Dr Kevin Ellis i blwyf Caergybi yn dilyn symud yma o ardal Birmingham. Edrychwn ymlaen i fwy o ymweliadau ganddo yn y dyfodol.
Dyma un o'n disgyblion yn brysur yn mesur cynhwysion i wneud crempog.

On Shrove Tuesday, all of the pupils here at the school took part in many activities to celebrate this important time in the Christian calendar. As we all know, we use Shrove Tuesday as the start of the remembrance of Jesus's sacrifice in the dessert and the temptations faced. During Shrove Tuesday, Christians use up ingredients such as flour, eggs and milk in preparation for Lent. Lent will then proceed the next day, also known as Ash Wednesday. On Ash Wednesday, the junior department attended St Cybi's, in order to take part in their service and proceed to have a cross placed on their forehead in remembrance. During Shrove Tuesday, pupils from years 5 and 6 were lucky to enjoy a visit from Reverend Dr Kevin Ellis who came to cook pancakes with them. We would like to take the opportunity to welcome Reverend Dr Kevin Ellis to the Holyhead Parish following moving here from Birmingham. We look forward to many a visit in the future.

Sioe Pypedau Drama'r Geni / Birth of Jesus Puppet Show
Yr wythnos diwethaf bu i'r Eglwys dan arweiniad Kirsty Williams, drefnu sioe bypedau yn yr Ysgol ar gyfer rhoi stori'r geni i'r disgyblion mewn ffordd wahanol. Cafwyd bore diddorol yn eu cwmni.
Last week, the Church and Kirsty Williams organised for a puppet show to visit the school to tell the story of the Birth of Jesus in an imaginative way. A thoroughly enjoyable morning was had by all.
Cyngherddau Nadolig / Christmas Concerts
Yr wythnos diwethaf bu'r babanod a'r adran iau yn brysur yn perfformio eu cyngherddau Nadolig. Bu'r babanod yn perfformio sioe o'r enw Neddy's Christmas a bu'r adran iau yn cynnal prynhawn o garolau a darlleniadau yn yr Eglwys.

This last week the infants and junior departments have been busy performing their Christmas concerts. The infants performed a play called Neddy's Christmas, whilst the Juniors conducted a Christmas Carol Service at St Cybi's Church.

Ymweliad yr Esgob / Visit by the Bishop
Yr wythnos diwethaf daeth yr Esgob Andrew i ymweld a'r ysgol. Rhoddodd sgwrs i ni am sut mae'n anodd aberthu pethau sydd yn daer i ni. Fel y gwelir yn y lluniau mae tim pel droed Lerpwl yn agos iawn i galon yr Esgob wrth iddo wisgo un o'r disgyblion fel cefnogwr.

Last week Bishop Andrew visited the school. He gave a talk on how it is difficult to sacrifice things that are close to our hearts. As you can see from the photographs, Liverpool FC is very close to Bishop Andrew's heart as he dresses up one of the pupils as a supporter.
